It’s time … come home to the country

House for all Seasons Jenn J McLeodAutumn is here – Jenn’s favourite season – and so is the official release of  House for all Seasons.

To celebrate everything that’s great about small town stories, welcome Canadian powerhouse duo – Carli and Carli and Juliecarli and julie 2Julie Kennedy.

Bryce Courtney (The Power of One) wrote: “The joy of a small town lies in its unchanging nature.”.

You can watch Carli and Julie (below), but first I want to thank everyone who has ever encouraged me to keep writing and keep trying. There are no words to convey how I feel right now, or how I might say thank you to the wonderful Lou Johnson, Larissa Edwards, Carol Warwick (and the entire Simon & Schuster, Australia team) for giving my ‘House’ a home.

And a big Aussie thank you to the amazing Carli and Julie Kennedy with the perfect song for this occasion. So (click) to come home to the country with Jenn and to Small Town Stories with Carli and Julie.

If you loved Small Town Stories you can download the song (and there’s more) from iTunes or go to the girls’ store: www.cjkennedy.com.

While you’re clicking away online you can also: ** buy House for all Seasons as an ebook; ** order a gorgeous print version online ; or better still ** pop down the street and support your local bookshop. We should all do our bit to keep a bookshop in business.

PHEW! Okay, so now the official ‘Jenn, the author’ thing is done, how am I really feeling?

I actually think I want to throw up! I am giddy and shaking and … Oh, now I think I’m having a hot flush! Someone pass me a fan — quick!

Speaking of fans …

I want to say a BIG thanks to you. Yes YOU! The one still reading this post. The one taking time out of your precious day to help me celebrate and spread the word.

More than anything I hope you enjoy House for all Seasons and you tell your friends, and they tell their friends.

    1. Hi Lidya, Nice to see you here and thank you for the tweet. Guess what? I let my wonderful publisher choose the design. How incredible it should be that. Yet another reason why i know my house has the very best home in Simon & Schuster.

  14. Jenn, you have worked so hard, had a dream for so long and now it’s here. I am sooo proud of you and those who “are watching over you” will be proud as well. I am sure if they could they would influence book sales and make you a best seller.

  15. From me: Wishes so warm they’re hot! Congrats. Am dying to read this book. Have just ordered it online (I live at the end of the road, so pls forgive me). Happy days, Jenn. Keep calm and carry on. x

    1. Thank you Rae, and your beautiful card for Mum arrived today. Very special. As my very first critique partner, I owe you heaps. Big hugs.

  16. Hi everyone. Thank you so much dropping by. Carli and Julie are amazing, aren’t they? I discovered them last year — well before I saw my cover. I could hardly believe it when the cover arrived. It was as if my cover girl was looking down the same leafy country lane. I bought the Small Town Stories track (do you even call them tracks these days!? I feel old.) and now play it everytime I sit down to write. It gets me in that small town mood.
Thx for Tweeting and Facebooking too.

  17. I typed your name in google Jenn, and it got me here after I hit blog. So, I think connection is okay. 🙂

    1. Yes, it clicks thru okay, but it brings up the wrong author and novel!!!! damn internet.

  18. Congratulations, Jenn! I just purchased a copy from Dymocks so no need to put me in the draw either. I just wanted to leave a comment for you to wish you all the best!!!

  31. Apologies. Life has been a bit of a – as my mum would have said – ‘schamozzle’. (Since her passing I now try to use a mum word a week.) The very spooky (perhaps symbolic) name drawn as winner of my launch day book – a signed copy of House for all Seasons – is…. Shambolicliving! How amazing is that. It has to be a sign. Ms Shambolic, pls let me know your postal addy.

  32. […] had Canadian duo – Carli and Julie – and their lovely Small Town Stories song for my online launch on March […]
