australiadaybloghop2014ENTER HERE

This weekend I’m celebrating  “The Great Aussie Author Invasion” because Australian authors are doing amazing things — here and around the world.

House for all Seasons Jenn J McLeod

House for all Seasons has been so well received by readers (see the reviews here) I have a signed copy to giveaway today.

To enter the draw I ask two things:

1. Leave a comment below with the release date of my next book – Simmering Season. (Not sure? Look here.)

2. Sign up for my newsletter – coz I figure if you’re interested in my stories, you’ll be interested to hear about other books and news with the odd newsy newsletter! See the newsletter sign-up box top right of this page.

NOW – Double your chances  – I’ll pop a second entry into the Akubra with your name on it if you add to your comment below that you have either shared this post on your Facebook page (if you have one) or if you Click to Tweet: “Hey, I’m in the draw to win House for all Seasons by @jennjmcleod”

Entries close at midnight on January 28th. Winner announced here, no later than Feb 4th 2013. Australian residents only.

Now, check out Book’d Out for more Great Aussie Author Blog Hop participants.

  10. I’ve had House For All Seasons on my TBR list for several months now and whenever I check at the library, there’s never a copy free (and generally several holds waiting!), so I haven’t managed to read it yet. And also looking forward to Simmering Season, released April 1. Also shared on Facebook.

I’m loving the chance to read more Australian authors since joining the Aussie Readers’ Group on Goodreads just over a year ago – lots of authors I wadn’t aware of, or weren’t aware were Australian!

    1. Hey, Kathryn, good to know. Same thing at my local library. makes me wonder why, when books are so popular, that libraries don’t order more than one copy. Oh wel. Thanks for taking part. Today.

      1. Oh, and by the way, my local library DOES have more than one copy – they currently have 6 copies, all of which are currently checked out, and there’s another copy being purchased, by the look of it! That’s good news for you, Jenn!

    2. Well, now you can tell the library you no longer need a copy! YOU WON! You get the ultimate FREE copy! 🙂 I will email you. Congrats.

  11. Yay, on the upcoming release, Jenn. Am very happy for you.

    1. Hey, lovely Eleni! Thanks so so much. I am pretty excited too!

  12. April 1 seems to be the date – let’s hope it isn’t an April Fool’s joke…

I have also tweeted the giveaway from my @areadersheaven account.

    1. LOL April fools, my thoughts exactly. It is to fit into the Mums Day marketing apparently…. I am going with that 🙂 Thx for dropping by.

  13. Oink, oink, oink!! – (Maybe I should become a prize lamb for Australia day weekend…. baa, baa, baa!!) LOL

APRIL FIRST…… and I can’t wait! Mind you, I have asked for Simmering Season as a Mother’s Day pressie, just in case the funds are free flowing when the kids go back to school. I figure it’s always good to have a back up plan 😉
I don’t have a facebook account, but hubby does, so I’ll share on his, if that’s ok Jenn.
I’m really enjoying reading Australian authors at the moment. I must admit, like Kathryn, there are many authors that I never realised were Australian. It’s amazing how many talented people we have here.
Thanks for your amazing generosity Jenn, and for always sharing the fun and the love.
    Happy Australia Day!
    Karen
    xx
    😉

    1. LOL Lamb! That is hilarious, Karen. Your comments make me smile.

      1. Thanks Jenn.
Glad to know that I can make you smile, and not scare you silly because I sound a little (or a lot?!?!) crazy!
        😉

  14. April the First 2014.
I was only looking for “House for all seasons” yesterday but I couldn’t find a copy in the shop here, and now I found your blog via the AWW challenge.

    1. Ooh , coincidences can be lucky. Thx for dropping by, Wendy S.

  15. New release on April 1st. Best of luck!

  16. I’ve signed up to your newsletter

  17. I’ve shared on facebook too.

    1. Thx Wendy. Nice to ‘meet’ you. Happy hopping!

  18. Lovely post, Jenn. Happy Australia Day. 🙂

  19. The release date for Simmering Season is April 1st 2014. I would love to win your book, it looks like a great read.

  20. Simmering Season released 1st April 2014 – and that’s no joke! At least it is an easy date to remember Jenn. I am sure the reviews will be just as flowing as House for all Seasons.
    (and I’ve ‘shared’ on Twitter – https://twitter.com/lobroo/status/427586457717338112)
    Cheers

  21. You know, they say writing a book and getting it published is hard. Then there’s getting your work out there – MUCH harder. Online activities like this Blog Hop can really help, so thank you for supporting Aussie authors.

The VERY HARDEST thing to do now is… pick a winner. Every name (tweets and newsletters earned an extra entry, as promised) went into a hat (an Akubra, of course) and out came… Kathryn Evans. Congrats and happy reading.

    1. So excited to have won! Big thanks to Jenn for her generous giveaway! And interesting to read everyone’s comments and to hop around to the different blogs over the weekend!

  22. Congratulations Kathryn. Enjoy your read!!!
