Cue the music: I’m ready to blog hop.

I’m recognising Australia Day by saying …

ozdaydonateNO to fireworks.

NO to fake, foreign-made flags, thongs, and drink holders.

(Oh, and giving away a book to one lucky reader.)

aussie helpersYep, I’m keeping it real and celebrating the 26th of January by being a REAL Aussie. You can too by donating to Aussie Helpers – helping the heart of our country (our farmers and graziers)

I’m also sending one Blog Hop reader a signed copy of their choice:

Any book.

You choose.

To enter the draw simply… leave a comment below and TELL ME what month my new book – The Other Side of the Season – is out. (Not sure? Look here.) AND, of course, tell me which book you’d like to win*.

Optional:

DOUBLE your chances: I’ll pop a second entry into the Akubra with your name on it if you share this post on your Facebook page (if you have one – and don’t forget to tag me.) or you can Click to Tweet:

TRIPLE your chances by donating to help our farmers. It’s the Aussie thing to do: Go to www.aussiehelpers.org.au

CLOSED *Entries into the draw close at midnight on January 27th. Winner announced within 7 days. Australian postal address only.

After leaving your comment below, check out Book’d Out for more Great Aussie Author Blog Hop participants with more giveaways.

Then…

Grab a snag, a beer, and if you can DONATE to Aussie Helpers. Then kick back feeling good and remember… slip, slop, slap, read.

And if you’re still with me and you read ebooks on iTunes, head over to this blog post I did earlier and go into an extra draw to win one of three copies of Wild Chicory by Kim Kelly (courtesy of The Author People).

I love your post and I’ve gone and donated. As for your new book, I believe it officially releases in May. Personally I can’t wait for it. I’ve got all of your books signed already, is the new one a possible option? Either way I’ll be hunting your book down in May. Best of luck with it’s release!

    1. Jess, I think I have a requirement to send out the book in a specified timeframe, which is why I could not add the new book. But if I draw your name and you don’t mind waiting…. Well, Good luck!! 🙂

  16. May 1st
    House for all Seasons

  17. Hi Jenn, what a great giveaway. Your new book will be released 1st May 2016. I have all three books but the first one is a wee bit old looking as I bought it from a used book store so I’ll choose that one, to have your first book signed will be pretty special anyway.
I’ve only read your first book and it was amaaazing. This year I’ll read your other two. I have many rural author books to catch up on and this year will be the year for it!

I’ll share this post on my Facebook page, will try to tag you, it doesn’t always work.

    1. That’s a lovely comment about the signed book. Thank you Sue. Good luck in the draw.

  18. I’d be beyond pleased to win any of your books but I’d love to start with reading Season of Shadow and light 🙂
The Other Side of the Season is released May 1st.

Thank you and I hope you had a lovely and relaxed australia day 🙂

    1. You just made me smile. Thank you. Good luck in the draw.

  19. I both love and loathe book draws because I always want to send everyone who takes the time to visit a book to say thank you. But I had to draw one name only and that person is Janine K, who I will email. I realise it is a poor second prize, but if anyone would like me to pop an author signature in the post, do let me know. A very, very sincere thank you, again.
    Jenn J

    1. Don’t worry, Jenn – we all know not everyone can win! It’s still interesting to hop around to the other blogs and read people’s comments about all things Australian!

Hope you enjoyed your Australia Day!

      1. Thank you Kathryn. The weekend was frantic but lots of fun. Always good to meet new readers.
